Sounding Forth 2026 – The Shared Life

Our lives are busy. Between work, family, errands, responsibilities, and everything competing for our attention, genuine community can easily get pushed aside. But following Jesus was never meant to be done in isolation.

As we continue Sounding Forth 2026, we see that Paul, Silas, and Timothy didn't simply share the good news with the Thessalonians—they shared their lives with them.

Allowing God to transform our lives takes surrender. Sharing those transformed lives with others takes sacrifice. It requires time, proximity, intentionality, and a willingness to love people in the middle of everyday life.

We may not be able to impact everyone, but God has already placed people around us whom we can encourage, serve, teach, pray for, and simply be present with. Sometimes the greatest influence doesn't come from a platform or a powerful message—it comes from ordinary people consistently showing up and loving others.

We were made for a shared life. As we choose community over isolation and make room for others in our everyday lives, people can experience the love, freedom, and family found in Jesus.
