Psalms of Summer 2026 – Benefits of God

We spend much of our lives searching for things that promise security, comfort, freedom, acceptance, or purpose. But the benefits the world offers are temporary. Eventually, they run out, let us down, or even become the very things that hold us captive.

As we wrap up Psalms of Summer 2026, Psalm 103 calls us to remember something far greater: the benefits of belonging to God are everlasting.

David reminds himself of who God is and what He has done. He forgives our sins, heals, redeems us from the pit, surrounds us with love and mercy, satisfies us with His goodness, and knows us with the compassion of a loving Father.

Through Jesus, we can experience freedom from the things that have held us captive and hope that reaches beyond our circumstances and even beyond this life.
