Q&A 2026 – Kingdom Rhythms
This week we begin a new Q&A 2026 series by talking about money, generosity, and what it means to honor God with our treasure.
Jesus tells us, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Our spending reveals what we value, and over time, our hearts often follow where our treasure goes. That means generosity is not just about finances—it is deeply connected to worship, trust, and discipleship.
In Matthew 6, Jesus calls us to store up treasures in heaven and live with hearts focused on God’s kingdom. From the first fruits of Genesis, to Israel’s care for the poor, to the widow’s offering, Scripture shows us that God has always called His people to generosity.
This message reminds us:
- God does not need our money—He wants our hearts
- Generosity is an act of worship and trust
- Giving helps align our hearts with God’s kingdom
- We are called to love God and love people with our treasure
When our treasure is invested in God’s kingdom, our hearts follow.
